My name is Maria, I'm the 3d year student in Russia. I happened to study in Changsha University of science and technology for two semesters - one in 2005, another in 2006. The course provided by the university includes several most essential subjects: general comprehension Chinese, listening and speaking Chinese and, finally, reading Chinese. Additional courses can be provided, like calligraphy or Chinese culture. All together it is a good program for a person with elementary level of Chinese, though, I believe, the details of the course can be discussed and adapted according to the requests of the student. Teachers are fine, they speak reasonable English, but they don't use it if the student is capable of understanding Chinese. Lessons cover various grammar points, vocabulary and writing skills, develop ability to use language, train pronunciation and enable person talk in Chinese on everyday level. The university itself is a nice place located not far from the city center. The area is well provided with small shops and cafes where it's convenient to have a meal. Living conditions are excellent, rooms are spacious, each student has individual bathroom and kitchen, computer, TV and other appliances. Generally speaking, if one looks for a calm place with the clear aim to study Chinese and enjoy China and its people - I don't see any reasons why not to come to this university.

   2年前，我们刚到长沙的时候，听不懂中文，也看不懂汉字，生活上有些困难。在长沙理工大学里，老师和同学对我们都非常友好，教我们说普通话，写汉字，我们可以说一些简单的中文，生活有了很好的变化。
   我们住在新校区，学校的环境很好，有很多树、花和很漂亮的地方。有很大很舒服的教室，是一个很好的学习的地方，教室里还有可以放电影、图片的机器，老师给我们上课会慢慢说，会照顾我们语言的问题。学校有一个很大的足球场，我们有时候在足球场里有比赛，大家都很开心。
   在这边有两个很大的食堂，吃的东西味道很不错，也有很多种，我们可以选择自己喜欢的吃的。在食堂旁边有超市，在里面可以买到面包、饼干、水……
   在学校里，有留学生自己的宿舍楼，每个留学生都有自己的房间，住起来也比较舒服。宿舍里有电视机，可以看很多节目。有热水器，在你想要的时候就能有热水。有电冰箱，可以保存吃的东西。还有衣柜、床、书桌、台灯……
   学校会带我们留学生一起去其他的城市，看看中国的风景，让我们了解一些中国的特色，学习中国的文化，让我们更好的在中国、在长沙理工大学生活。我们也有自己的活动，在我们的宿舍楼下面有Party，会邀请我们的中国朋友来玩。
   在长沙理工大学的留学生有很多国家的，我们都关系很好，一起学习、一起起去玩、一起吃饭、一起搞活动，我们自己也有一个自己的留学生俱乐部，会搞一些活动，让中国学生和我们留学生一起交流。
   在中国，我们很开心，因为我们学会了说中文，也可以写一些简单的汉字，我们学到了很多中国的文化。非常感谢长沙理工大学给我们一个很好的地方学习！

My name is shamoon ahmad. i recently came here and studying civil engineering. like me every one who go other countries for sake of education, take a lot expectations with them.this beautiful university in a beautiful city have fulfilled my expectations. the university have every kind of those facilities which a top university have, and well known in civil technology. chinese pleople here are very friendly and caring. i love to live here, and i am sure that i am really going to enjoy these 4 years of my life.

I am in this university since last year. I am doing Civil Engineering. I am in my 2nd year.
Before coming to china, I was very doubt full about studies. But after becoming part of this university, I am feeling better.

I am doing Electrical Engineering. I came to this university in November 2010.
It was my dream to study abroad. But after coming here it felt me like that my dream has fulfilled.
This university is very good in studies and also good in sports. This university provides too many extra curricular activities.
Living in the campus is very good. It really gives you very good experience.
In my views Changsha University of Science and technology has all those things which are necessary to be an Engineer. This university is also gives you an opportunity to learn Chinese language.I would like to say that if someone gets his graduation from this university, there is no Doubt his future is secure for sure.
