Introduction

           Yulin Normal University, run by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regions, is a four-year undergraduate and multidisciplinary University. It is located in Yulin City, southeast of Guangxi, which is one of the top tourist cities of China.

            Yulin Normal University owns 2 beautifully landscaped campuses, covering a total area of 120 hectares. At present, the university has a staff of more than 1,100, including 90 professors, 87 PhDs, 454 masters. There are 19 Colleges covering economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, management, agricultural, and art. There are 57 four-year undergraduate specialties, 27 three-year specialties, more than 18,000 full-time students as well as 12,000 extended education students.

           Decorated by flourishing trees and blue lakes, the campuses embrace the local cultural as well as natural landscape, which provides students with an excellent environment to live in. The first-class piano house, computer center, linguistic center, multi-media classroom, and campus network are open to students. Yulin Normal University has numerous facilities to meet a variety of needs, including library, school canteen, supermarket, and banks, post-office as well as gymnasiums, swimming pool and courts for basketball, tennis, and badminton.

           Located at the southeastern part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regions, Yulin city has a privileged location facing the South China Sea, neighboring Guangdong Province. Yulin city is one of the Top Tourist Cities in China and it is the hometown of Professor Wang Li, a very famous linguist. The city has a railway and highway connecting it to different parts of the country.

           Our university actively develops international education cooperation and cultural communication. It has established a substantive cooperation and communicative relation with more than 20 universities and educational institutions in America, Australia, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos etc. Since the recent five years, the university has supported nearly 160 teachers and technical staff to study abroad, develop science and technology cooperation and act as guest professors. It enrolls almost 900 students from the project of Sino-foreign interscholastic communication. It also invites a number of foreign experts and scholars to teach and give lectures, as well as do joint research. In addition, it successfully holds international symposium for many times.

Application Requirements

I. Application:
           Applicants must be over 16 years old, in good health and have graduated from secondary high school.

II. Documents required:
           1. Application form with photo.
           2. Secondary school report.
           3. Health check.
           4. Copy of passport.

III. Procedures:
           1. Applicants for March term of next year should offer these materials before January 15; Applicants for September term should offer these materials before July 15.
           2. Upon receiving these materials, the International Exchange Section will process the application. Successful applicants will be given an Acceptance Letter and Visa Application Form (Form JW202).
           3. With these two documents, the applicants can then apply for a Chinese visa in a Chinese Embassy or Consulate.
           4. Successful applicants are required to register for the chosen program before the registration deadline written in the Acceptance Letter, failing which the applicants will be deemed to quit their application.
