1. Dining

SDUST has more than 600 international students from over 50 countries, all with different dietary habits. International students have access to a wide range of food options to suit their taste. They can eat at the Campus Canteen, which has a variety of options, including Halal food. They can also cook in the public kitchen in the dorm building. There are all kinds of restaurants and snack shops outside the university. Students can also eat out or order food delivery.

2. Accommodation

SDUST offers on-campus accommodation for international students with facilities including bedding, desk, closet, toilet, shower, public kitchen and washing machine, etc.

3. Shopping

There are several supermarkets and many small grocery stores on campus where students can buy all their daily necessities. They can also choose to go to downtown for shopping. There are several direct buses to downtown from both the north and south gates of the campus.

With a pleasant environment and advanced infrastructure and facilities, the SDUST campus in Qingdao is also an ideal place for living. There are a lot of entertainment facilities on campus for international students to enrich their daily lives. SDUST also organizes many activities for international students every year in the Students’ Center.

There are many sports facilities on campus where students can exercise. SDUST also organizes a lot of sports competitions for students every year.

6. Service Facilities

Various service facilities can be found on campus, including a post office, the Agriculture Bank of China, China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom. Both cable network and wifi are available in the dormitory.
