The government of Fujian province has established Scholarships for International Students including The Special Provincial Governor Scholarship, Study in Fujian Scholarship for liaison officer from Sister Cities, Advanced Study Scholarship for liaison officer from Sister Cities and Scholarship for International students recruited by universities in Fujian independently. Since the universities have the autonomy for the recruitment of international students, the candidates for the scholarship should be recommended by the university and then cultured in the same university after the admission.

The applicants may obtain relevant materials from Department of International Exchange and Cooperation, and submit the application materials. Candidates for the scholarship will be named and decided by SMU, which will still have to be submitted to the Education Department of Fujian province for the final audit. Once the results are out, all the applicants will be informed in time.
