Application
1. Chinese-learning Students
The duration for long-term students is above half an year (one semester), while for short-term students less than half an year (one semester). After examination before class, the students will be divided into primary, intermediate or advanced class. Students who complete the required courses, and pass the examination, will be awarded the training certificate.
Compulsory Courses: comprehensive Chinese, oral Chinese, listening, Chinese characters, China culture, writing, grammar, newspaper reading, etc.
Elective Courses: calligraphy, martial arts, Chinese sayings, business Chinese, HSK counseling, Chinese history, China folklore, etc. Eligibility Requirements:
In principle, the applicants should be more than 18 years old (those who under the age of 18, are required to submit the guardians’ guarantee), healthy, high school graduated or above, holding a foreign passport, non-Chinese citizens. Junior and senior high school applicants are all welcomed, no Chinese language proficiency.
Required Documents:
a. Application form for foreign students of Beifang Univesity of Nationalities
b. All kinds of certificates, shall be the notarized copy in English or Chinese
c. The copy of passport (passport is valid within 6 months)
d. 4 white 2-inch photos
e. The copy of foreigner physical examination form
Application Procedure:
a. Send your documents to International Students Office of Beifang Univesity of Nationalities through email or postal
b. After being reviewed and approved, you’ll get Beifang Univesity of Nationalities Admission Notice and Visa Application Form for Study in China(JW202 form)
c. Handling your visa formalities in China Embassy with Beifang Univesity of Nationalities Admission Notice, Visa Application Form for Study in China(JW202 form), and Foreigner Physical Examination Form(the above materials are required for the original)
Application Time: flexible
Registration Time: Starting in September if apply before the end of June, starting in March of next year if apply before December
2. Bachelor Students
The duration of study is 4-5 years. Those who complete the teaching contents stated by the teaching plan, gain full credits, and get through the graduation paper argument will obtain the graduation certificate. Those who meet the conditions stipulated of Bachelor's Degree, will be awarded the bachelor's degree certificate.
Eligibility Requirements:
High school graduation or above, non-Chinese citizens holding a foreign passport(if the applicants were once Chinese immigrants who want to apply degree programs should be foreign legal citizens continuously living abroad for more than five years) (those who under the age of 18, are required to submit the guardians’ guarantee). Level 5 of new HSK is needed for learning China literature, Chinese history, or Chinese philosophy, and also for other specialties.
Required Documents:
a. Application form for foreign students of Beifang Univesity of Nationalities
b. Full-time regular high school graduation diploma(applicants for upgrading from vocational school to university are required to provide Vocational Diploma)
c. High school transcripts(applicants for upgrading from vocational school to university are required to provide Vocational Transcripts)
d. Chinese language level certificate
e. The copy of passport (passport is valid within 6 months)
f. 4 white 2-inch photos
g. The copy of foreigner physical examination form
Application materials could be submitted to our school by mail or e-mail, admission materials will not be returned. Please provide the original documents when registration, will be returned after check.
Application Time: before 30, June.
Registration Time: at the end of August.
