Department of Horticulture

Department of Horticulture was founded in June 2001, It was one of the most important departments set up at the beginning of the foundation of the Beijing Vocational College of Agriculture. There are three majors, including Horticulture Techniques, Garden Techniques and Plant Protection. The department always adheres to the education guideline of market-oriented, application and employment, emphasizes the combination of “production, teaching and research”, and dedicated to the development of majors and the reform of teaching, The department has made great achievements. At present, there is one state-level quality course, four municipal-level courses, one agriculture textbook, three municipal-level books, more than 30 textbooks, over 30 state and municipal research projects，five national patents.
