Edible Mushroom Culture Technology
Note:College of Resource and Environmental Sciences in Sichuan Agricultural University on exploitation and utilization of edible mushroom resources holds a didactical and scientific research personnel, which takes on several edible mushroom breeding items, and has a long-term cooperation with many local governments and companies in edible mushroom culture and exploitation, which promotes local ecological constructions and economic development. The exploitation and usage of mushroom resources are important ecological agriculture and resource cycle utilization. For spreading abroad ecological agriculture’s idea, our college will launch a training course on edible mushroom culture technology. Welcome foreign friends to our school for studding. On the basis of introducing the physiology of mushrooms,the training course will pay a lot of attention to the technology of edible mushroom culture. After the training course,the trainees are expected to master the spawn-making of main edible mushrooms,such as Agaricus placomyces Peck, Pleurotus ostreatus, Flammulina velutipes, Auricularia auricular, Lentnus edodes, and also be good at using crop straw to culture and further processing edible mushroom . Successful completion of the training program will lead to a diploma offered by Sichuan Agricultural University.
Courses:
On the foundation of Agricultural Microbiology, participants mostly study Physiology of Mushroom, Cultivation Technology of Mushrooms, Prevention and Cure of Edible Mushroom Pathogens, Machinery of Edible Mushroom Further-processing, etc. For training , we adopt a method of combination of classroom teaching , dissertational lecture , farm practice. We will also arrange visit and practice for students on the neighborhood farm of edible mushroom culture.
Duration & Tuition: The duration of study is 6 weeks in total. The training costs RMB 4,025 Yuan, including expenses of teaching materials, instructor’s remuneration, and experiments materials and visiting farm etc. Other costs in China should be borne by the participants themselves.
